Welcome to the Solent Art Society
We are a group of amateur artists interested in watercolour painting who meet weekly in Lee-on-the Solent, Hampshire. Our members cover a wide range of experience and are drawn from Fareham, Stubbington, Gosport and the surrounding areas. We meet most Wednesday nights during term time at the Lee on Solent Community Association premises.

Spring Trip
On the 3rd of April 2011 some members of Solent Art Society went on a trip to London. The object was to visit the Mall Gallery, and also the Watercolour Exhibition at the Tate Britain. Most members managed to visit both venues, and one pair even managed to visit the Bankside Gallery as well. All agreed that it was a very worthwhile trip. A good time was had by all, and some excellent paintings were seen. What an inspiration for us all, and now we look forward to next term
